It was more than obvious a vehicle had taken out the mailbox. What I couldn't figure was how they drove away after such a hit. We had most of the front bumper, pieces of the headlight cover and pieces of a bug deflector.

I heard a vehicle revving it's engine around 4:30 that morning but didn't give it too much thought other than it was excessive.
